Are Havanese NON Shedding?
A: No. All dogs shed, however Havanese shed so little you won’t notice. Many publications report as Non Shedding. They have hair/not fur.
How large do they get?
A: AKC standards say 7-13 lbs. I, however, have known some Havanese that have reached 22 lbs. We strive to breed for smaller/standard size.
Are they hypo-allergenic?
A: Havanese dogs have hair, not fur so they are believed to cause fewer, if any, allergens.
Q: What is the cost of the puppies? A: Prices vary with each litter. Request a quote please.
What is Good Dog?
A: Good Dog is an optional website (fee based) that is dedicated to helping people find reputable breeders and helps them through the entire process of purchasing their puppy. Payments are safer for both the buyer and the seller and are guaranteed for all parties. Sales tax and site fees will apply.
Do I have to go through Good Dog or can I do the transaction directly through the Breeder?
A: Direct transactions are available. As long as you have not submitted an inquiry on Good Dog already, it is optional.
Are Havanese easy to house break?
A: Yes, but the owners will need to dedicate some time and follow a strict schedule for a week or two. If you are consistent, the puppy will learn quickly.

Can I let my dog sleep in my bed?
Once your puppy is fully potty trained, you absolutely may let them sleep in bed with you. If not potty trained, you may want to diaper them for the night.
What is ENS?
A: ENS stands for Early Neurological Stimulation and is referring to exercises used to trigger the Neurologic system of the puppy. This accelerates natural development, boosts their immune system, and instills confidence. ENS was developed for the Military's Super Dog project.

What is the 3-3-3 rule for puppies?
3 days of decompression, 3 weeks of learning the routine, and 3 weeks of building true trust and a good bond with the owner.
